A remix of "Black Lucy and the Bard," as presented in season 50 of PBS's Great Performances series. I've built my remix visuals and audio through layers of doubling. The ballet, like many of Shakespeare's plays, uses doubling as a foundation. But Caroline Randall Williams' underlying text and narration does so with more depth and insight than Shakespeare ever attempted. I hope that you will stream the full ballet after viewing my remix.
