Laura Viola Preciado

Laura Viola Preciado has made her home on Whidbey Island and that environment is evident in her expressive, intuitive paintings. Laura’s most recent paintings use the essence of land, sky and water as she reaches towards nature to give the work structure but doesn’t intend to replicate. Intentionally structuring stains, pools and marks, she creates a composition offering a familiar yet undefined encounter.
