Why The Hell Not

Acrylic on Cradled Board, black sides

36 x 36 x 1.75 in

C$1,900

This painting doesn’t hesitate. It moves. Bold, graffiti-like marks cut across the surface — layered, crossed out, rewritten, pushed forward again. There’s no waiting for the right answer here. Just action, instinct, and the kind of energy that builds when you stop asking if you should and start doing it anyway. The surface holds all of it — the push, the interruption, the follow-through.
The layered marks create a rhythm that feels immediate and physical. From a distance, the painting reads as strong and unified. Up close, it reveals shifts, edits, and moments where one mark overtakes another. The limited palette of black, white, and pink keeps the work grounded while still allowing it to hit with full force.
