I had so much fun creating this world of colour and shape, where line, shape and dance freely. "And Then They Danced" capturef my vision—an abstract painting full of the vibrant colours I love, expressive brushstrokes, and, in the end, celebrates movement and energy, creating a dance of space and form. . The limited red, orange, and yellow palette blended with its muted green, blue, and white touches reminds me of fall and the gorgeous colours of the trees in Haliburton, where I grew up. Each layer and textured stroke weaves throughout the painting, invoking a sense of spontaneity and expressive freedom that invites you to explore. The marks extending beyond the canvas suggest a world beyond, waiting to be explored.
