Flowers make my heart sing. I love this quirky vase with its polka dots and all the silliness carved in. To me, that is what flowers are all about. A smile, having fun and sharing with our friends. A stiff, perfect vase of roses, which I know is super hard to do, weaving those stems in and out, not so much. Flowers are about life and sunshine, celebration and love, imperfections and yet blooming beautifully. despite. The winter is the saddest time of the year, well at least for flowers. The garden is quiet until that first burst of spring when the crocuses brave the cold for a bit of sunshine.
