A solitary tree sits atop a grassy dune at Headlands Beach State Park, Ohio. The lake is out of view on the opposite side of the dune. Soft clouds breeze by in the background with some light precipitation misting a small section. The early morning sun lights a section of the dune . I like to paint scenes that have s solitary figure of some kind. This is a nod to my own preference for solitude.
