As a youngster living in Cootamundra having a civil engineering father I would often hear about the Murrumbidgee, which supports important farming land. This is how I see it.
This painting forms part of new and exciting series of artworks by Meredith Howse.
Inspired by the colours of the countryside comes a sophisticated collection of abstract landscapes using rich deep greens, earthy browns and warm ochre’s, with a splash of blue to symbolise our rivers, dams and blue sky’s. Using a birds eye view point and a textured canvas, connections are made between colours and lines.
Deep earthy colours of high pigment oil paint on canvas, framed in a light coloured wood, floating, tray frame.
Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
