Wailua River Valley is one of my favorite places, a scene of improbable lushness where a tranquil river winds through a verdant paradise, framed by volcanic ridges. In this painting, I sought to capture the essence of this magical valley—the richness of its greens, the stillness of its waters, and the quiet power of the mountains that embrace it.
