After the oak tree was felled by Storm Katie in 2016, Mark collected much of the wood.
He uses the oak wood in many ways, including creating sculptures from the shards that were created when it shattered as it fell. The surfaces are treated in a number of ways, either left as raw wood, finished with a metal leaf and burnt to black.
