These works are a collection of positive ancient masks from around the world, abstracted to blend in harmony. The artist has researched and explored many different masks from around the world and chose to use the ancient uplifting and culture-building masks that have a positive and enriching focus. Masks from Africa, Asia, the Islands, Native Americans, Inuit, Mayan, and other long extinct cultural masks have found a place in these oil-on-canvas compositions by Marcella Muhammad.
