This vibrant painting, titled "Earth Song," captures a striking Plasticism abstraction by Marcella Hayes Muhammad, showcasing a colorful design that juxtaposes the beauty of Earth with the stark reality of environmental neglect. The upper half features a radiant globe symbolizing the planet's glory, while the lower half starkly contrasts with a depiction of a desolate Mars-like landscape, emphasizing the urgent need for preservation. Cultural elements throughout the artwork reflect ancestral guardianship, watching over the skies and yearning for clean air, water, and thriving natural ecosystems, reinforcing the message of environmental stewardship inspired by Michael Jackson's iconic song making it a striking addition to any art collection.
