An energetic exploration of portraiture, identity and the power of being visible
Mahogany Gallery brings SEEN to Indianapolis, September 3–6, 2026, as the second exhibition of its dynamic MG in Indy activation. Presented at The Stutz, SEEN is an artistic exploration of portraiture—bringing together artists who use the face, figure and human presence to examine identity, culture, memory and visibility.
At the center of the exhibition is one powerful question: What does it mean to truly be seen?
Through bold, intimate and deeply expressive works, SEEN pushes portraiture beyond likeness. These artists capture presence, emotion and lived experience while creating visual records of people and stories worthy of recognition.
