Depicts the Massachusetts fern (Paratherlypteris simulata), Christmas fern (Polystichum astrocichoides), and Marsh ferns (Thelypteris palustris), and Multiflora Rose (Rosa multiflora), an opportunistic species indigenous to Asia with sweet-smelling flowers and seeds that can remain viable for 20 years. The Multiflora Rose is able to create a monoculture thicket that creates a difficult, if not impossible, setting for indigenous plant and wildlife species. Countless swirls of spores and seven Eastern Bluebirds (Sialia sialis) are also depicted.
