Fast Forward: Growing Up in the Shadow of Hollywood is a powerful look at Los Angeles youth culture and its influence on the rest of our society. To this day, Hollywood is the place that fabricates the popular culture that is exported around the world; a culture obsessed with money, possessions, looks and eternal youth, consumed like an addictive drug as children soak up the examples set by the adults and media around them.
This collection of 79 color photographs, accompanied by interviews with the children and their parents, reveals the realities of growing up fast in an environment that is at once irresistible and unforgiving.
