The creek where I walk most mornings is always different depending on the tide. It is always different, different patterns, shapes, and you almost try to read the markings. Through walking and direct observation, my work explores tidal and threshold landscapes. I love to engage with environments where land and water meet, and where change is constant. I focus on rhythm, surface, and the accumulation of marks to reflect to its complexity, fragility, and the presence of natural systems which is always beyond beauty to me.
