I'm having an open house and studio at 43 The Village Acklington, on Sunday 14th June 2026 from 2-5pm.
Recently I've been working hard on trying to capture a specific mood from time spent on the beach, when the light picked out the pinks of the pebbles. It’s about the gorgeous feeling of contentment to be had by focusing on a few random pebbles with the gentle flow of the sea around them. It has resulted in a new series of mini paintings which I’d love to share. There’ll also be some works in progress, some older paintings and some odd-bods/experiments for sale. I’m really pleased to be joined by Linda Willcox, with her striking abstract paintings, Sally Howarth with unique jewellery (and the iconic blue mannequins!) and Lou Thomas with handcrafted, sea-urchin shaped cushions.
