This 2020 Ruth Bader Ginsberg painted portrait captures the seriousness in which she held her Supreme Court position. The blackness of her robe, serious expression and hand clutching the pocket-sized copy of the Constitution she carried with her at all times represents the heavy loss of this feminist icon but also her Supreme Court Seat in 2021 and the feelings the artist felt during this time.
