The artwork is a landscape painting featuring a serene and expansive scene dominated by a large body of water in the foreground. The water is depicted in varying shades of blue, giving it a sense of depth and motion. In the midground, patches of green and sandy-yellow hues represent the shoreline or areas of land interspersed with the water. The horizon line is marked by dark silhouettes of distant land, which transitions into a vast, layered sky.

The sky is rich with ethereal clouds, painted with soft, billowing strokes. Clouds range from white to grey, with some areas reflecting subtle hints of purple and pink, suggesting a time of day when the light is soft, possibly dawn or dusk. The overall atmosphere of the painting is calm and contemplative, captured through the use of blended colors and soft, diffused edges.
