Night Shift was built through layers of accumulation, disruption, and revision, allowing the painting to move through multiple states before arriving at its final form. Deep, saturated color fields collide with bursts of light and texture, creating a surface that feels both dense and alive. The work explores the emotional and visual intensity of working at night, when perception becomes heightened and forms begin to shift between clarity and abstraction. Rather than resolving into a fixed image, the painting remains in motion, holding tension between darkness, energy, and emergence.
