This painting was inspired by the feeling of looking into dark, still water where flowers, reflections, and color appear and disappear. Deep layers of paint create a sense of mystery and depth, while bright reds and greens emerge from the darker surface like moments of light. I was interested in creating an atmosphere that feels both calm and slightly unsettled, allowing the image to shift between abstraction and hints of nature.
