Living with very little, Theuerjahr worked and traveled with a quiet determination. He observed animals in their natural environments and studied the rhythm of the landscape, seeking to capture an essence that joined form, movement, and spirit. His sculptures are not literal depictions but living presences, shaped by empathy, endurance, and an unshakable sense of wonder.
In Africa he found both hardship and revelation. The experience taught him that creation arises from patience and closeness to life itself. His work reflects this understanding, uniting strength and stillness, the primal and the contemplative, into forms that breathe with humility and inner light.
