“Surface Transformation” uses the resin to dig deeper into the ground layers.
The poured fluid acrylics create a surface texture that reveals the flow patterns of water and demonstrate how it can alter the terrain. A push-pull of color and line along with the traces of quartz, gold and copper minerals create this surface transformation into something experienced, something with a history, something temporal. As we dig deeper beyond our surface identities into what we really are, we find within ourselves: space and light.
