My work consists of paintings that are filled with vibrant colors and acute detail. I love to explore depicting the human figure through a narrative lens. I tell stories about my own life as well as the lives of the people around me, especially in relation to common experiences as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Additionally, I gravitate towards elements of gore and horror in contrast with tongue-in-cheek humor. What results are irreverent pieces that a whole host of individuals can find humor in and relate to, while also serving as a wink and a nod to the communities that I am a part of, who relate to my experiences and my depictions of them on an even deeper level.
