Sangre de Cristo #7 Ink Drawing

Acrylic ink on paper

9.4 x 14 in (23.88 x 35.56 cm)

This piece is an acrylic ink drawing on cotton rag paper.

The artwork shows a serene mountainous landscape in monochrome blue. The sky, a mosaic of varying intensities of blue, suggests a partly cloudy day.

The fluid brushstrokes —created by using the ink dropper bottle top—and intentionally rough edges add to the painting's artistic appeal.

Inspired by the Sangre de Cristo mountain range, the piece conveys the majestic aura of the 14,000-foot peaks surrounding the San Luis Valley.

Sangre de Cristo #7 arrives ready to frame, with a stained deckled edge that adds a beautiful finish, suitable for floating inside a frame.

This piece measures 9.5 × 14 inches. | 9.5 x 14 in
