"There are those who would not look their demons in the eye. (God knows it is far simpler a life that way.) However, I have difficulty with such a course of action. Perhaps it is because those demons loom so large in my head, in my soul I feel I must wrest them out of me, forcibly. Or I could just ask them to fly away on their blackened bat-like wings to haunt me no more? Would I miss the habit of their torment? Might I learn to carry on with delight in every day? (guiltless in my joy to be alive?)"
