Made in collaboration with the winter rains, handmade stoneware tiles are coated in ceramic pigments that are washed away with rainwater run-off. Each panel captures the essence of a single rainstorm and thus a fossil record of the rain’s expression. Additions of mica and flux are fired onto the surface of the tile to add gloss and silver fleck to catch the light adding some magic.
