Doccia, Italian for Shower, captures the refreshing energy of water in motion. Layers of magenta, pink, gold, and luminous white cascade across the canvas, evoking the sensation of sunlight dancing through falling water and the invigorating feeling of being surrounded by the ocean's cleansing embrace.
At 12" x 12", this original painting transforms a simple moment into an immersive experience. Flowing currents of color and light create movement throughout the composition, revealing new details with every viewing. The interplay of reflection and motion brings a sense of vitality and freshness that instantly brightens a space.
Inspired by the restorative power of water, Doccia celebrates renewal, clarity, and the simple joy of feeling refreshed. Like a shower of ocean spray carried on a coastal breeze, the piece reminds us that even the smallest encounters with nature can awaken our senses and restore our spirit. Julie Siracusa's Ocean Alive collection explores the rhythm, movement, and beauty of water, and Doccia captures one of its most uplifting expressions.
Created for collectors who find peace and inspiration near the water, Doccia brings light, movement, and positive energy to any space. Its luminous palette and flowing composition serve as a daily reminder to embrace life's refreshing moments and appreciate the beauty found in the present.
As with all of Julie Siracusa's work, a portion of proceeds supports marine conservation efforts, helping protect the oceans that inspire the art.
