Alta Marea, Italian for High Tide, captures the powerful rhythm of the ocean at its fullest expression. Layers of cerulean, aqua, deep blue, and luminous white surge across the canvas, creating a dynamic composition filled with movement, energy, and light.
At 24" x 24", this original painting evokes the moment when the tide rises and the sea seems to come alive with renewed strength. Flowing currents and shimmering reflections weave together in a mesmerizing display, revealing new details and pathways with every viewing. The composition feels both powerful and harmonious, echoing the natural cycles that have shaped our coastlines for centuries.
Inspired by the ocean's perpetual ebb and flow, Alta Marea serves as a reminder that life moves in seasons. There are moments of retreat and moments of expansion, times for reflection and times for embracing opportunity. Like the high tide itself, this piece celebrates abundance, momentum, and the courage to move forward.
Created for collectors who feel a deep connection to the water, Alta Marea brings vitality, movement, and a sense of possibility into any space. It is a daily reminder that growth often arrives in waves, carrying us toward horizons we may not yet see.
As with all of Julie Siracusa's work, a portion of proceeds supports marine conservation efforts, helping protect the oceans that inspire the art.
