Forgotten Bottom Ben Franklin Bridge Quilt

Paper with hand-cut leaves applied [red bud, hosta, sumac]

6 x 4 in (15.24 x 10.16 cm)

The quilt design is based on a found composition while walking on the Ben Franklin Bridge in Philadelphia. The botanical materials were selected for their vibrancy and used in dynamic color combinations to create energy and movement that emphasized the directional details found in the leaf structures.
