Crazy Quilt Brooch

Paper base with hand-cut leaves applied [heuchera, red bud, crape myrtle, etc.]

4 x 3 in (10.16 x 7.62 cm)

The brooch design is inspired by the style of a freeform quilt and the organic arrangement of units. The natural edge using heuchera is used to communicate the uniqueness of the natural material and reference scrollwork in jewelry.
