Reassembled Differently
After visiting a Surrealist exhibition with friends, I came home thinking about how little information we need before the mind begins searching for something recognizable.
A face emerged from simple shapes, but this time I didn't need all the pieces to fit where they once belonged.
That felt familiar in a different way.
Growth had required taking apart so much of what I thought my life would look like. Maybe becoming isn't about putting everything back together. Sometimes we use what remains, rearrange the pieces, and discover that something entirely different can still feel whole.
