Wildflower -
by Amour de Monet
"you cannot catch a wildflower"
he says.
"you are my wildflower."
I am lost inside myselfmy personal paradisemy own euphoric insanitycould i be as manic as I sometimes believeto feel as if my soul lives in the earth beneath my feetand stretches from the root of every tree to the tips of their leavesexhaling me into the sky to float with the wind from meadow to meadowI stand with arms stretchedspinning in circles like a tiny tornadograzing the tips of each blade of grass with my fingertipsdancing with my pointed toes upon dewy petalsbreathing in the heavens of the earthfeeling as if the sun was shining from within memy world could not exist without this insatiable lust for lifeyou cannot hold me and shelter me under the dark roof you flourish inI am a wildflowerI need the meadows, the sky, the sun, the air, the freedom
