Bland has been intrigued with photography most of her life starting with the basic Kodak Instamatic cameras in her youth. She used her first paycheck after college to purchase a SLR camera and has never looked back. Photography is a way to capture the wonders of Mother Nature and a way to share those wonders with others. A photograph can evoke a smile, a sense of awe, a feeling of calm, a fond memory or a multitude of other emotions. A photograph is a simple gift both to the photographer and to others.
