Dorothy lives and works in Albany, NY. After raising three children, she went back to school and earned a BS in studio art at Skidmore College and an MFA in drawing and painting at the
University at Albany. She has shown her work regionally and nationally for more than three decades. Her art is in many public, corporate and private collections, including the Hyde Collection,The University at Albany, and the collection of the New York State Comptroller. She has had fellowships at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, NM, the Vermont Studio Center and the Contemporary Artists Center in North Adams, MA. She has taught drawing and painting at colleges, arts centers, and privately.
