When I was a little girl, there was a man who would come to collect old newspapers. He would stack them on top of the others he had piled on a child's wagon he pulled along the streets. A photo of an elderly man sitting on a sidewalk reminded me of him and of another dishevelled neighbourhood man who rode around on a bicycle. I painted this in memory of them.
