Robert Joy was an Ellinwood-based artist whose style varies. Joy stated, "Virtually everything inspires me. I start doodling as a form of meditation. I can just sit there for a long time and draw lines. I decided that I was going to (create) what I (create) and not worry about what other people do, and I wasn't going to compete with them.”
