Ralph Fontenot is a Junction City native who taught elementary art for over 40 years. Fontenot claims teaching improved his art, "There was always talk at the art school, those who can do, those who can't teach, but teaching has been very good for my art. I have to learn how to do things before I can teach the kids how to do it." He has since retired.
