A small wooden deity figure from the Moba communities, Tanganyika Province. Congo, Africa. There are three sizes of these figures (tchitcheri). The smallest one is for a personal shrine, providing a connection with a deity. Larger ones, as with 2014.1.165 , represent recent ancestors.
