About the artist

Sabine Korrin

Sabine Korrin is a contemporary artist whose work explores the relationship between light, color, and architectural space. Through immersive installations composed of suspended translucent elements, she transforms light into a material, creating environments that shift with movement, perspective, and time of day.

Working primarily with glass, acrylic, and optical materials, Korrin investigates how color can alter spatial perception and emotional experience. Her installations invite viewers to move through fields of light and transparency, where boundaries dissolve and changing viewpoints reveal new visual relationships.

Balancing precision with sensory experience, Korrin's work draws from both minimalist sculpture and architectural design. Her large-scale installations create moments of reflection, encouraging viewers to become aware of their own movement through space and the subtle ways light shapes our understanding of the world.

Korrin lives and works in Germany, where she maintains a studio practice focused on site-specific installations, sculpture, and public commissions.
