This painting is a play on one of the most famous paintings in the world, "The Creation of Adam". My interpretation flips the gender on the creator role. It is a large painting, a 4-foot square that is on clothing, quilt, and fabric scraps. The clothing adds a layer of mystery and humanizes the subject. The bright colors pull the figure off the muted chaotic canvas forcing the viewer to ponder the meaning.
I'd like to thank my lovely wife for posing for this work.

This painting and others will be on display at my solo show from September 5th, 2023 to September 9th, 2023. It will be at the Greensboro Project Space (GPS), 111 E February 1 Place, Greensboro, NC 27406.
GPS is run by the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) School of Art which gives an opportunity for students, faculty, and the Greensboro community to showcase their work. I wish to give UNCG a big shoutout for allowing me to display my paintings.
