Working with layered materials and dimensional surfaces that extend beyond the canvas, Kris creates immersive compositions that invite viewers to engage with his work both visually and physically. His practice is driven by a belief in the transformative power of creativity and its ability to inspire personal reflection, emotional connection, and individual interpretation.
In addition to his studio practice, Diggs is committed to making art accessible through community engagement, public art initiatives, and interactive creative experiences. As an instructor and facilitator, he has guided hundreds of participants through painting workshops and community-centered art programs designed to encourage creative confidence and self-expression.
Kris has exhibited throughout the Mid-Atlantic region at galleries, art fairs, festivals, and cultural institutions including Wheaton Arts Parade Gallery, Hue2 Gallery, Creative Suitland Arts Center, Art All Night DC, Anacostia Arts Center, Metrobar, Howard Theatre, Accelerator Space Gallery, Be More Gallery, and more. His work continues to evolve through an exploration of color, texture, and dimension, challenging the traditional boundaries between painting and sculpture.
For Kris, art serves as both a personal form of expression and a catalyst for connection—creating spaces where viewers can find meaning, inspiration, and a deeper appreciation for creativity in everyday life.
