About the artist

Mary Paquette

Mary Paquette grew up on a farm in Concord, New Hampshire. Throughout her life, Mary's days were filled with hard work on the farm, but she still managed to fit in time for crafts, camping, and gardening. Mary's artwork was patiently created from scenes of her life, as well as her vivid imagination. Mary was a resident of the St. Johnsbury Health and Rehab Center where she was a regular participant at the weekly GRACE workshop, until her death in 2002.
