During the years of the Trump presidency, some response to his abject misuse of our American language seed in order. I remembered back in the early ‘70s when I was a new teacher and read the seminal book, “Teaching as a Subversive Activity” by Neil Postman and Charles Weingartner. One of the strategies touted in the book recommended studying the (mis)use of language by individuals and institutions and then employing their twisted use of language against them. I decided, with the assistance of the impact various font choices offered, to respond to Mr. Trumps (n)famous challenge, Make America Great Again. I printed editions of the identical text boteh in American Flag Blue and American Flag Red aware all of us, not just some of us, have work to do.
