This little accordion style book, made to express what I was learning when I was concentrating on drawing, offers encouragement for one who does not draw very well. In fact, working on this piece in 1993, at the beginning of my delving into visual art as a more or less natural outgrowth of writing poetry, opened the world of hand-made books, a path I have happily followed ever since.
