My niece and frequent letterpress collaborator, Nora Poole (age 30) and I (age 80) were invited by Art To Change The World to participate in an exhibition exploring issues of ageism, in which two artists, at least twenty years apart in age, collaborate on a piece of art. We each, separately, made a list of ten events throughout our lives (since she was born) that have significance for us. We then compared the lists, found similarities, and decided to create and print poetry speaking of, remembering, or reflecting on those moments in our shared lives.
