G.H. Hovagimyan | The Activated Archive

Pioneer of Net.Art (Whitney Biennial, MoMA, ZKM)

G.H. Hovagimyan (b. 1950) is a foundational figure of the digital avant-garde. From the landmark 1993 BKPC legal challenge to contemporary "In-Situ" Augmented Reality, his work bridges the conceptual rigor of Joseph Kosuth and Daniel Buren with the decentralized logic of the 21st century.

Current Release: Situationist Funhouse (Activated Edition)

The final 30 copies of the artist’s monograph have been transformed into unique AR Artist Multiples. Each copy is signed, numbered, and embedded with a custom AR layer that activates the archive into 3D space.
