About the artist

Marthalyn Fortson

Marthalyn Fortson resides in Macon, Georgia and has been in many juried shows and exhibits in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, with two solo exhibits at Macon Arts in 2017 and 2018. She has studied at GCSU, Mercer University and Wesleyan College, been mentored by Marc Chatov, and produced extended work with Bill Davidson. She was featured on the cover of the magazine, “Ovations,” and interviewed twice for “Macon Food and Culture.”
