About the artist

Lillian Blades

Lillian Blades was born in Nassau, Bahamas in 1973 and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. Lillian Blades received her BFA from Savannah College of Art & Design and her MFA from Georgia State. In 2020 she was commissioned to create a 17.5 ft hanging installation for McKinsey and Company in Atlanta, Georgia. Her artwork can also be found in public and private collections including the National Gallery of the Bahamas, Birmingham Museum of Art, Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport and the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
