'Zigzag Four' presents questions in the viewer's mind. For instance, how did four trees come to be positioned so closely together with so much space around them on the banks of a water body? What is the nature of the jagged reflection? Is it ice or flowing water in the foreground? The viewer is invited to seek their own answers to this discourse.
