My inspiration as a visual artist is rooted in my Roman Catholic traditional faith, family, nature, community, and the exploration of contemporary subjects.
Experimentation is central to my creative process. I am drawn to materials and forms that ignite my imagination and open new possibilities for expression. Visions, dreams, contemplation, and intuition play an important role in shaping my innovative approach to making art.
I enjoy collaborating with other artists and exploring ideas for public art projects that create meaningful experiences and have a positive impact on people and communities.
Typography and graphic design are also integral elements of my practice. I believe words are alive—imbued with thousands of years of history, meaning, and human experience. Letters possess their own visual language and symbolism, speaking to each person in a uniquely personal way.
Through my creative practice, I seek to make the invisible visible—to give form to ideas, experiences, and realities that may otherwise remain unseen.
